The handle for the "Imperius" of the Fiendsword Series is close to completion. it took many hours of sculpting, reference studies and shape considerations but look at it now. Most of the details done in sculpting were baked into a normal map and used as reference for different colours.

This is a close-up of one of the guard quillons. Whilst the render shows backface culling on, a shader with the option to disable backface culling will be suggested or used for it.

In the design there will be 4 materials which I intend to atlas and reduce resolution down to a single 2k PBR material. If I'm unable to and I lose too much detail in the crunching and atlasing, the materials will likely be kept separate.
